SKILL DEVELOPMENT COURSES (via e-mail)
Introduction to Essay Writing (Middle School) Outlining techniques; creation and revision of narrative, process and persuasive essays, plus a number of other skill-building assignments.	10 lessons	$150
Introduction to Essay Writing (High School) Outlining techniques; creation and revision of narrative, process, persuasive and comparison/contrast essays, plus a number of other skill-building assignments.	12 lessons	$165
Intermediate Essay Writing (High School) College preparation - essay development review; analysis/synthesis, summary, narrative essay and more.	12 lessons	$165
The Research Paper Planning, digging and assessing information, note-taking, organization, drafting, writing, documenting sources, revision of a full-length research paper, along with a number of other skill-building assignments.	10 lessons	$150
Creative Writing I - Short Stories Once upon a time to happily ever after (or not!), this course will lead your student through the development and revision of several well-plotted, creative stories. In addition, your child will will discover the structure built into the fiction they read as he creates and polishes his own work.	12 lessons	$165
Creative Writing II - Write a book? Do you have a student burning to write a longer story/book or learn what it takes to seek publication? Michelle will work with you to develop a personalized curriculum to meet the goals of you and your student.		E-mail Michelle for more information
EVALUATION SERVICES (via e-mail)
Parents make assignments based on their specific curriculum requirements, then send the assignments to Michelle for content and grammar critique. At no extra charge, Michelle will then review the student's revision of the assignment. $40 enrolls one student for one calendar year. Cost per evaluation: $15 for up to 10 pages per evaluation (12-point font, double-spaced, standard margins; additional page length subject to additional fee). Parents are billed quarterly.
