About Michelle I'm a free-lance writer with a wide variety of published work to my credit:
I began getting requests for the same sort of interactive writing instruction from families who lived too far away to attend the writing courses I offered. In 2001, I began tailoring the coursework to fit an e-mail tutorial format. Home Page Writing Tutorial Services is the happy result.
In 2009, I edited and expanded these original materials to include additional instruction based on the feedback I'd gotten from the numerous students with whom I've worked over the years. The materials are more user-friendly than ever! Click on the "Course Descriptions" button at right for detail about the services I offer.
My own calling as a writer is rooted in the words of Psalm 45:1, paraphrased beautifully by author Eugene Peterson: "My heart bursts its banks, spilling beauty and goodness. I pour it out in a poem to the King, shaping the river into words..." As my own heart overflows with the worth and beauty of God, it is my desire that the words I speak and write be grace-shaped, powerful and true.
